Refunds
and Warranties
Warranties
- Binoculars.CC offers the manufacturer's warranties as described
with the product. Many of our binoculars feature 10 year limited
warranties, which is outstanding in any industry.
Goods
damaged in shipping will be cheerfully replaced.
Refunds
- are given only after the item has been recieved here for inspection
and are provided within 30 days of purchase. Exchanges are provided
after that, and manufacturers warranties superceed both of these
policies where applicable.

Notes
(These
situations are very rare, but do need to be spelled out anyway....)
Binoculars
that are damaged and returned will be sent back to the purchaser
(if you damage them, they are yours).
Abusive
returns are not tolerated (for example, buying binoculars to use
for a concert and returning them the next day). If this is your
intention, 'buy' elsewhere!
Hostile
returns and chargebacks will be put out to a collections company.
This occurs when a purchaser forces a refund by challenging the
transaction through their credit card company. We take care of all
of our customers through customer service, so chargebacks are un-necessary.
What started out as a good way to protect the customer from fraudulent
merchants has become a license to steal for fraudulent customers.
It is not widely known, but a 'chargeback' puts a black mark on
the merchant's credit and flags the customer.... it is not simply
a way to get your money back, and has serious ramifications for
all involved.
